Noteboom, Smith, Zevenbergen, Thompson, Ankrum and Gross take Mid Season Championship at Park Jefferson

It was a night of favorites for the mid-season championship at Park Jefferson at a number of drivers added to their win totals at Park Jefferson.
In the Artworks Graphics Modifieds, it was Jay Noteboom notching win number 75 as the all-time feature winner made good work of the field from his 3rd row starting spot. Noteboom will be rounding into form as the $1,500 to win Midwest Madness race and the IMCA Dirt Knights come to Park Jefferson in July. Chris Abelson was second and Sean Barragan had a stout run for third. Chris Mills and Todd Boulware won the heats.
Elijah Zevenbergen picked up feature win number 30 at Park Jefferson as he won the J&J Fitting Stock Cars. With Jason Ward and Zevenbergen winning the heats.
Colin Smith took over the point lead and the race for the Heartland Steel $1,000 check which will go to the season champion of the Stevenson Hardware IMCA Sprint Cars. Smith secured win number 7 all time, just one behind Dusty Ballenger in the division which started racing in 2017. Daniel Nekolite was second and Kaleb Johnson third. The heat race win went to Ryan Voss.
Cody Thompson notched win 5 to tie Chris Abelson on the Sport Modified win list. Thompson now has 16 wins matching Abelson. Brian Osantowski was second and youngster Cade Richards was third. Heats went to Richards and Nordquist.
Zack Ankrum continued his early season success as he picked up the win in the IMCA Hobby Stocks with his second win on the season. Justin Frederick was second and Craig Clift third. Heats went to John Cain and Craig Clift.
It was Jared Gross with win number 2 on the season to take over the point lead in the Fox 620 Sport Compacts. Gross won over Danny Vanderveen and Brian Long as only seven competitors entered.
