5th Annual J&J Iron Cup information released
Plans are underway for the 5th annual IMCA Iron Cup at Park Jefferson Speedway presented by J&J Fitting. Drivers from across the upper Midwest will be on hand to compete for the honor of hoisting the Iron Cup. Each night will see complete shows for the IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sprint Cars, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Modifieds, IMCA Hobby Stocks and IMCA Sport Compacts. All divisions will be running for State, Regional and National IMCA points.
On Friday night, the IMCA Modifieds will host their makeup Sjorgrensen Winery Bonus race which will pay $1,000 to win. The IMCA Sprint Cars and Stock Cars will run for $500 to win, Sport Mods and Hobby Stocks for $400 to win and IMCA Sport Compacts for $100 to win.
On Saturday night, the IMCA Modifieds, Sprint Cars, and Stock Cars will all run for $1,000 to win. The Sport Mods and Hobby Stocks will run for $700 to win and the Sport Compacts for $300 to win. The best combined finish of both nights will be the Iron Cup Champion.
In addition to the feature prizes, winning drivers will receive cash bonuses if they have had perfect attendance at Park Jefferson, won at Park Jefferson, and even competed at Park Jefferson Speedway.
Gates open each night at 5pm with hot laps slated for 6:30pm. Adult tickets are $18, Seniors 70+ are $15 and children 6-16 are $5 with under 6 being free. The clubhouse is open for $12 and pit passes are $35.
