Park Jefferson International Speedway
$1,500 to win IMCA Modified Memorial Clash in 10 days
Park Jefferson Speedway is already beginning to ramp up for one of the highlights of the spring calendar with the 2nd Annual Memorial Day Clash on May 26th, highlighted by the huge $7,500 purse for IMCA Modifieds. The Artworks Graphics IMCA Modifieds will be racing for $1,500 to win and $150 in a to start IMCA Fast Shafts Qualifying event. Last year, over 25 drivers invaded Park Jefferson for the IMCA event. The racers will all be on even footing as the event is the first of the draw/redraw IMCA events that will award track, state, regional and national IMCA events. Last year saw a number of drivers enter on their way to the famed Charlie Clark Memorial at I 80 Speedway the following night. The event is the first race that could qualify racers for the 2018 Sjogrensen Winery Modified Mayhem Bonus. If any driver can sweep the 5 events at Park Jefferson that pay $1,000 to win or more, that driver will win a $25,000 bonus. If any driver wins 4 of the 5, a $4,000 bonus and 3 of 5 is a $1,000 bonus. Events are The Clash on May 26, The Road to the Iron Cup on June 23, The Dirt Knights on July 23, The USMTS on August 25 and the Iron Cup Champsionship on September 15th.
